Integration ideas:
1) for ESL students: send a document they need to read by email or from web. Student will choose what language he/she wishes to convert to to enhance comprehenion. The student will then copy/paste a manageable amount of text into the English text box, tap return on the keyboard and it automatically sends to the translation box below! From there you can send out the translation as a Text message, email or copy it to the clipboard to take into another App.
2) Use to increase engagement, comprehension and learning for ESL students of any digitized text. With Speak Selection the selected text in English or translated text will read aloud
3) TEXT NOT DIGITIZED? - still a handout or in a textbook? Use the updated Prizmo App to take a picture of the hardcopy document, scan from within this App with the iPad, extract the text and copy/paste the extracted text into Easy Translation HD for translation into the desired language (check this site out for a video key on this process http://appsforeslbwelsford.blogspot.ca/
4) Use the above process for test taking (when testing knowledge of the subject) and even answering questions in Easy Translation HD - student will have the question read to them in Prizmo, perhaps translated in Easy Translation HD, clear the screen, change the language from i.e. German to English and the ESL student can verbally answer the question in their native language, translate to English, copy/paste into Type on PDF or Paperport Notes text boxes and complete the test then email out to the teacher!
